This limited edition, comprising only 1919 pieces, commemorates the founding year of Aurora. The pen features a vermeil barrel and a gold-plated cap with lacquer-filled engravings inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's codex on avian flight. Design elements conveying the pen's uniqueness include the gold-plated cap head and a distinctive clip, designed by Giampiero Bodino to evoke Leonardo's sketches of birds in flight. The pen is equipped with a tapered and elegant 18kt gold nib with a finely shaped, handmade joint in black resin. A novel lever loading mechanism is concealed within the gold-plated base. This precious instrument is presented in a refined wood and satin case.
