Dandelion Root Organic has historically been an important medicinal herb. This caffeine-free herbal has been used traditionally to support the liver and gallbladder. We offer the root in two forms - roasted and unroasted. The unroasted root yields an infusion with a slightly stronger, earthier flavor than the leaf, but it is still pleasant with a slight bitterness. The roasted root yields an infusion that is smooth and deeply flavored with earthy and roasted notes.
