Wild-Grown Ancient Tree Vietnam Wulong Tea

Wild-Grown Ancient Tree is a wulong tea from the mountainous and forested Ha Giang Province in the north-central part of Vietnam. The leaves of this tea are harvested from wild tea trees that are over 500 years old and grow at an elevation above 4,000 feet in a temperate climate. Harvesters must climb the trees in order to hand-pluck the leaves, which are then hand-processed and highly oxidized about 70%. The long, twisted leaves yield a medium-bodied, rich and smooth infusion with deep, sweet, cacao and malty notes.   Leaves may be infused multiple times. Tea is priced and sold by the ounce.  Minimum purchase of 2 ounces.
