Turn to the Sky (Custom Photographic Site Specific Picnic Blanket Quilt)

Based on my project Turn to the Sky, I will make you a custom site-specific picnic blanket! I print the images myself in my studio on cotton broadcloth. The cloth photograph is then quilted into a 60 x 60 inch picnic blanket using all cotton batting, backing, and binding. Option One: You provide me with a high res image of a place that resonates for you, per my instructions. I will then make your custom picnic blanket using your own photograph. Option Two: I will take photos of a striking spot in the sky somewhere accessible to me and use this for your picnic blanket. Let's discuss what features are important for you. I typically visit the site before I make each blanket and choose a place to lay down and daydream toward the cosmos. In this spot, I take a picture of the sky, and create a picnic blanket which acts as a mirror to that vision of the sky in that moment.
