do you want the long story or the short story? let's go with the long story. it's always a rare treat when a true antique starburst band from the US comes along and this one is especially wonderful because it isn't a teeny tiny size. unbelievably, it was recently rescued from a scrap pile, but because of its time in the scrap pile and its design it has lost all of its original stones. a new faceted rose cut diamond and new turquoise cabochons moved in to replace the stones of yesteryear. solid 9k rose gold, unmarked, but karat confirmed via XRF + natural diamond + natural turquoise M E A S U R E M E N T S  size 9.25, but may fit smaller because of the width 12.25mm at widest tapering to ~2.7mm at the base of the band rises ~1.75mm off the finger at the center stone center diamond measures ~3mm across weighs 2.6g C O N D I T I O N  in good re-worked antique condition -very often these true antique bands were worn daily and have lost their structural integrity to time-earned wear and fri
