once a class ring with a raised crest with enameled details it was worn beyond recognition and the enameling had to go. the shape of the crest was reminiscent of a scarab, and so it seemed fitting that this ring's rebirth would be adorned with a creature symbolizing the same it has great finger coverage, but its thin and lightweight, which is lovely for those of us whose fingers don't love chunkier signets edwardian era rosy 10k gold with rich patina throughout the design details, including in the newly engraved scarab M E A S U R E M E N T S size 7.25 signet measures 13mm north to south on the finger and band tapers to ~1.5mm at the base of the band signet is thin! face is ~1.15mm thick and the base of the thin band is a mere 0.4mm thick weighs 2.7g C O N D I T I O N  in good reworked antique condition the scarab is new engraving to replace/cover a fading crest, which means that the engraving has imperfections not from the reworking, but from existing character on the surface of the o
