a wonderfully ornate medal with an engraving of a swimmer just about to dive into the water. it seems especially poetic. what are you about to dive for? what leap of faith are you on the verge of? do you see the divers at the top of the pendant near the bail? the design details in this piece are spectacular and it's significantly more ornate than many from the era. definitely custom made, very likely one of a kind, and interestingly doesn't have an inscription on the backside as many do to mark an achievement solid sterling silver M E A S U R E M E N T S  please see photo of penny and pendant for scale measures 54.25mm north to south excluding bails jump ring bail has a ~5mm diameter weighs 14.7g!
