Snowdonia 'Red Storm' Red Leicester Cheese - 7oz Piece

Product of North Wales One thing about us here at the shop - we love cheese! Snowdonia's Red Leicester is definitely one of our favorites. If you are a fan of aged cheddar, look no further you have found your new favorite cheese. Red Leicester is a hard cheese, similar to Cheddar, but much more moist and a bit crumblier. It matures faster than cheddar and is colored with annatto - an orange-red food coloring derived from the seeds of the achiote tree. 'Red Storm' is typically aged for 18 months, creating intense nutty and caramel flavors with a refined, crystalline texture. Beware - this stuff is addicting!  Use this in scrambled eggs, grilled cheese, on a burger, or in Mac and cheese - the possibilities are seriously endless
