One of the four Marshall Commons residence halls opened in the fall of 2003, Gibson Hall is co-ed, four stories, and suite-style. Marshall Commons gained national attention as the first US residence hall to not offer landline phone service, instead providing each student with a cellular phone. Image is on 2.75" tall x 4" wide x 0.5" thick wood. Art by Linda was created in 2012 when I quit my teaching job (after 32 years) to become an artist...even though I had NO IDEA what kind of art I was going to do! I started making stamped metal necklaces and studying cookie art online. By February 2013, I started my little cookie business selling Valentine's Day cookies, and soon I was studying cake art and expanding my business in that direction, too. Painting has my attention now with a focus on watercolor, pastel, and acrylic paintings. Location: Ona, WV
