Fermentation Workshop with Monsoon Pottery and Third Season Saturday, September 20th 2-4pm

Join Chicago-based artist Danielle Chutinthranond of Monsoon Pottery and Melanie Molnar of Third Season for an intro to fermentation workshop.   Indulge in a 2-hour workshop where Food Preservationist and Third Season's Associate Creative Director Melanie Molnar will enlighten you on the history and purpose of fermentation. You will learn the fundamentals of lacto-fermentation and participate in creating and packing a fermenting crock. Gain insight into recognizing the signs of progress and potential issues. For this workshop, Danielle has designed a unique, stoneware fermentation crock.
