The illustrations were also revised and completely redrawn by Elizabeth W. Preston, in close association with Mr. Jinarajadasa who also wrote the new introduction to the work. Occult Chemistry is an unusual work by Besant and Leadbeater in which they describe and co-relate the structure of chemical elements based on their own clairvoyant investigations. From the publisher: "This work contains a record of clairvoyant investigations into the structure of matter...The two investigators, Annie Besant and C. W. Leadbeater, were trained clairvoyants and well equipped to check and supplement each other's work."
