This is the rarely seen edition that was bound with leather boards and gilt cameo gold label depicting Francis Bacon on the front. Gilt-edged pages. All pages are clean with no markings, the leather label on the spine is an exact reproduction of the original. A wonderful example of this edition, you may find the more common brown cloth edition on the market, this leather bound edition, however, is seldom seen. RARE! Overall Very Good+ condition. note: this book was professionally repaired in-house, we tinted some of the discoloration that was present along the spine and for the sake of aesthetics and longevity we replaced the original label on the spine with an exact reproduction.
