Dutton & Co. A.E. Waite's translation o Eliphas Levi's notable "Transcendental Magic." Dr. R. A. Gilbert observes that Waite had been unable to provide a fully annotated translation of the text in his original publication of the work in 1896 , but did so for the 1923 edition (of which this is a reprint) "The annotations are extensive, for Waite had worked on them sporadically for seven years." Condition: This old book with dust jacket is in good condition. This is a hardcover book with 515 pages including some illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. There is a bookplate on the first end paper. The last end paper has many notes written in ink and there are pencil underlines and notes in only a few pages (which could be erased if desired). OThe book is undated but app
