A lonesome Cocker Spaniard waits for his master, a sailor who has died overseas due to loose talk on the home front in this 1944 World War II propaganda poster by Wesley Heyman (1918-2002). During the Second World War, there was a constant concern in the United States about inappropriate information being overheard by enemy agents both domestically and abroad. This is the smaller size oft his image. This poster is from a series of posters entitled "Because Somebody Talked!" which are part of the larger theme of Loose Talk Can Cost Lives. This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
