Cognac Otard is steeped in rich history. Founded in 1795 by Baron Jean-Baptiste Otard in Cognac, France the liqueur is still in production today. The Otard family traces their roots back to a notorious Norwegian warrior named Ottar. Settled in Scotland for centuries, the family moved to France after the Glorious Revolution of 1688.
