Leo Fall (1873-1925) was an Austrian composer who created music for both opera and operettas, commonly known as musicals. His work was translated and performed all over the world. Originally written in 1908 as "Die Geschiedene Frau", "La Divorce'e" in French, and "The Girl On The Train" in English, the musical was popular and was performed in London and New York. The story revolves around a young actress travelling by rail who finds herself without a sleeping compartment for the night. A married gentleman offers his, but the two are accidently locked inside together. Although the event is innocent, the gentleman's wife learns of it and initiates divorce proceedings.
