German WWII Wehrmacht Lard Container with Painting

German WWII Wehrmacht Lard Container with Painting-Dark olive green Bakelite material with a screw on cap. The content markings are on the bottom and inside the top lid. The very interesting thing is that someone painted a scene of what could be home on the lid. The painting does show some damage, but you can still easily see what looks to be a small cottage with the village church in the background. There is a beautiful blue sky and trees. Sometimes even the smallest things tell a huge story.  Very good condition.
