Huge Army Document Grouping for Panzer Jäger-This document grouping is for Georg Weigl, born December 16, 1917. There is so much here to see. There are two photos and one document that are hand signed. There is a Wehrstammbuch with tons of combat entries and medals listed. He was a panzer jäger who saw combat time in Russia, Poland and France. There are over 20 (!) battles that are documented. He was awarded the EKII, the Black Wound Badge and the Russian Front Medal. He was trained on the PAK, MG, anti-tank rifle and Panther Hochse 41. There are three army soldier career profile/history documents with extensive, detailed lists of dated and battles from 1939-1941. There are eight other documents including one professing his Ayran ancestry as well. He was badly wounded in Russia and transferred plus promoted to Stabsgefreiten. This is an amazing grouping!
