These cells allow you to keep your seedlings growing in a single container loner and in many situations, you can use these until they are ready to go outside. You can also use them to up-pot your other seed starts. This has TWO inserts, so you get 48 total starting cells as seen in the picture - you can see how large they are, and they measure 3.00" x 2.19" x 2.25" You get 2 full inserts in this package. That is enough to seed start 48 plants.  There are holes in the bottom of each cell so you can water from the bottom.
