Ninja/Samurai Shikomizue Shikomizue (or “prepared cane”) was a cleverly concealed Japanese sword inside an unsuspecting walking cane. Shikomizue were carried by Japanese Samurai-class officials during the Meiji period as a solution to the ban. Also known as a Zatoichi or Shirasaya Samurai Katana. Unlike the katana, the shikomizue was designed with a straight blade. - Blade: The blade of the sword is constructed from 1045 carbon steel and features an aesthetic hamon. The blade is full tang, very sharp, and comes with a straight edge design.- Sheath: The sheath of the sword has been constructed from wood with a flat black finish.- Handle: The handle is the same flat black finish as the saya. When the sword is sheathed the handle and saya look like one solid piece. The handle has been crafted to contour to the tang of the sword, and the shape of your hands. A single pin secures the tang in the handle of the sword.Specs:- Overall Length: 38.75 "- Blade: Sharp- Blade Length: 28 "- Blade
