PROTO – “Death Star” UBS Fender

The PROTO Death Star Fender is the smallest, strongest and simplest-to-use fenders available in scootering and is the newest addition to PROTO’s PATENTED Universal Braking System (UBS)™ ecosystem; featured on all PROTO TDI™ DEX™ from the Orion 2 (2014) onwards. The PATENTED UBS™ Slide Adjustment Slot™ on TDI™ DEX™ allows this fender to “slide” to accommodate any wheel diameter from 100mm to 125mm; or adjustable for preferred foot placement and is held tightly in place with a single bolt requiring only a single allen key. Its strength comes from its Stainless Steel construction, hydraulically pressed on a custom 3D forming die, adding corrugated ridges to stiffen the entire fender as well as heat formed and hardened threads integrated into the body of the fender itself to eliminate the possibility of stripping.
