Peanut Caramel Cups

Now with more awards! Winner of International Chocolate Salon's Best Ingredient Combination Wonderful (and tasty) accidents happen to us a lot. These little creations started by testing our caramel recipe in our new toffee kettle. The caramel came out just a little softer. Too soft to turn into caramels, but Chef Bill really liked it--so after some further trials of turning an accident into a consistent idea we made these salty peanut caramel cups. Soft caramel poured into our own dark chocolate shells (lined with chopped peanuts), capped with chocolate and then sprinkled with some more peanuts. It's quite simple, and quite tasty. Pssst.. Goes great with a cold beer too--just saying.
