Basic Sewing 104 (Part 1 & 2)

In this class, you will learn the following: Part 1 – Learn different sizes of zippers (example: #10 jacket zippers verses #5 invisible dress zippers) Learn zipper pieces (teeth, tape, stoppers) zipper tape patterns and what they mean Learn to install two different types of zipper installations (Standard & Invisible zippers) using two different zipper presser feet Part 2 – Hard Project - Dog Walking Bag 1 yard of outer fabric & 1 yard of lining fabric (Choose medium weight cottons); two (2) 7" zippers - Instructor will bring purse hardware Medium Project - Zippered Pencil Case 1 fat quarter of outer fabric & 1 fat quarter for lining fabric; One (1) 7" zipper Easy Project - Travel Coin Bag with zipper closure 1 fat quarter of outer fabric & 1 fat quarter for lining fabric; One (1) 5" zipper Class Size: 8 Location: In person classes in 2 locations: The Sewing Station 401 West Pecan Street, Suite E Pflugerville, TX 78660 Magnolia of Georgetown (Clubhouse) 30
