Bricktown Grooming- The Bazaar Aftershave
Bricktown Grooming has its roots in American military history, and I have named each aftershave after major figures, battles, and terms. I had yet to tap into my own time of service and many deployments to the desert. I wanted to honor my time over there but could not think of a battle that I wanted to remember. So, I went with the one thing that most service members who served in Iraq and/or Afghanistan could share…the bazaar. Once or twice per month the local populace would have a bazaar with trinkets, clothes, and anything you could think of for sale. It holds a special place in my heart as it was often a respite from everything going on around me and provided an opportunity to get something special to mail home while we were able to put some money into the local economy. At each one I could remember the smell of different incense sticks burning throughout the market. And I did my best to tap into those scents when I created my newest aftershave.
