This finely crafted bottle stopper, featuring a raw-edged top, is the work of master woodturner Doug Dill from Lanexa, Virginia. The wood is sourced from a white oak tree planted at George Washington’s Mount Vernon around 1780, making each stopper a piece of living history. The heavy tapered chrome stopper includes a triple ring of silicone to ensure a tight, reliable seal. Each stopper measures approximately 5 ¾" overall, and because of the natural wood, color, grain, and shape will vary, making each piece unique.
