Federal Signal’s 27XST series explosion-proof strobe lights feature a voltage in-rush limiting PCB design that provides greater compatibility with factory automation control systems and reduces electrical interference with in-rush sensitive devices. The strobe produces 80 high-intensity flashes per minute and features a powder-coat finish applied over a copper-free aluminum housing for corrosion resistance. The light output provides 850 Effective Candela (ECP) and two million peak candela. Three mounting options are available: pendant, ceiling, or 90° wall mount, allowing the device to accommodate a wide range of installation requirements, including dome-up configurations. For easy installation, the mounting box is first installed and the fixture is then threaded onto the mounting box, making the electrical connection.
