A clear pressed glass lidded biscuit jar from Anchor Hocking in the "Wexford" pattern. The jar measures about 8" across the stainless steel handle and sits about 10 1/2" tall to the tip of the handle. The piece is in excellent condition. Note: The metal handle can be removed. About Anchor Hocking The Hocking Glass Company was founded in Lancaster, Ohio, in 1905 by Isaac Jacob Collins and named after the Hocking River. In 1937, it merged with the Anchor Cap & Closure Corporations to become Anchor Hocking.
