A small porcelain box with stem base from Morimura Brothers featuring a band of pink flowers inside gilded cameos and finished with little gold beads around the rim. The inside of the piece is also painted with pink flowers and gold accents. The box measures 3 3/4" wide and 3" high. The underside is marked in green with "M" for "Morimura" inside a wreath, flanked by "Hand Painted" and "NIPPON" which dates this piece to about 1911-1921. There is some fading to some of the gold trim.
