2023 White2Tea Charing Cross Charcoal Roasted White Tea

Another absolute stunner from White2Tea!  Charing Cross is a sun-dried old arbor white tea from Yunnan that Paul sent to Wuyi to be hand charcoal roasted by veteran yancha (rock oolong) makers in Fujian Province.  This tea is powerful - very sweet, very interesting, and very not-delicate.  We found a mild peach at first paired with some herbal notes while middle and later steeps developed an intriguing medicinal quality, a thick body, more prominent herbal notes, and overall welcomed warming quality.  We're really looking forward to savoring this as an autumn and winter special treat.2023 White2Tea Production
