Then apply an even coat of Transfer or Decoupage médium. We recommend use of Artisan Enhancements Transfer gel! Although some prefer Annie Sloan Lacquer  Apply decopauge medium with a nice synthetic brush careful to have stirred without making bubbles. Gently lay your decoupage piece to your surface and smooth out any bubbles allow to dry
