Turkish Rug
We were purchasing a second-hand couch and saw this on the back of a chair. We loved it as a throw blanket and were a little baffled by the heavy texture but hey, it was pretty! We brought it home and kept it in our blanket basket next to the couch. We never used it because it was a bit small. We took a quick trip to an auction house we love in Naples and saw basically the EXACT same blanket except it wasn't a blanket, it was a Turkish rug. WHOOPS. Now that we know this is a rug haha, baby steps, we can tell you a lot more about it! It's a terribly small blanket but an amazing accent rug for the foyer of a home or even a closet or bathroom. Until it sells, we are hanging it above our living room as a tapestry! It is woven with small, intentional holes throughout the pattern that make it unlike any of the Persian rugs we own. It's definitely a unique piece and filled with stunningly bold colors. Because of the vibrance of the dyes, we can guess it was made in the early to mid 1900s if
