Foraging Mouse Necklace

I really wanted to create a necklace that would not only be beautiful, but allow the wearer something to "fidget" with. A piece that you could hold onto in times of worry. Rub your fingers over the smooth quartz top and feel the texture of the bezel holding it down. Giving it a little shake makes the prettiest tinkling sounds while you discover your tiny hand carved mouse hiding beneath his leaves. He will be inside his little house, loose, with three fallen leaves to hide amongst. A silver, copper, and brass leaf were textured using real leaves to make them appear as real Autumn leaves. The sterling silver back really reflects the light outwards because of the domed quartz crystal on top allowing you to see into his home.  As you might notice in the video, you can also use your necklace as a cat call.
