Ficus do not like being moved/bothered. Remember, it’s a tree - it never expected to be picked up. Light - Bright light, southern/western exposure is best. If you don’t have even light, it’s okay to rotate the plant every week or so. Again, try to avoid moving it to a new spot. Water - Water every 8-12 days. Ideally, bottom of soil should 10-15% moist at all points, but it can dry for a day or two. Humidity - Prefers low/medium humidity. If you don’t have a a humidifier, I’d suggest getting one - cheap ones work just fine. Try to keep away from heat vents / cold windows. Repotting - I would suggest repotting the plant within a month of receiving it. The plants come in overgrown and root bound.
