Pu-ehr Tuo-cha - Black Tea

A unique tea praised for it’s earthiness. Pu-her is aged and fermented which is where it gets it’s signature mushroom-like nuances. Tuo-cha or “nest tea” is then pressed into the nest-like cakes to aid and encourage the fermentation. Musky and bold, this tea has a unique aroma and taste that is coveted by connoisseurs. Like a fine wine, Pu-her only gets better with age and is said to be best after at least 5 years. Each nest is good for a pot of tea, or 3-4 cups.
