This technique imparts an uneven surface texture and color tone to the fabric, which will develop high-contrast vertical fades over time as the indigo fades away.  In keeping with its celebration of Mexican culture, the Dia De Los Muertos Selvedge is made from 100% Mexican upland cotton. The selvedge ID offers the colorful stripes found in traditional Mexican sarape blankets, adding a touch of cultural homage.
