GWEN #125  (ポーラ, Pōra?, Paula) is a snooty penguin villager that has appeared in every game in the Animal Crossing series. Gwen's English localized name is a play on her species name: PenGUIN. Her initial phrase references the cold, as words are a stutter in cold temperatures. It is similar to Roald's, Cube's, and Aurora's catchphrases. She has the fashion hobby. Gwen is a white and purple-ish penguin. She has a dark purple curl on the top of her head and large eyes with magenta eyeshadow and black prominent eyelashes. Her wings/arms are dark purple with white tips. Gwen's beak and feet are a yellow-orange color. She initially wears the Yellow Bolero in Animal Crossing, Wild World, and City Folk, and the Melon Gingham Tee in New Leaf.
