The Twisted Monk Handspun Coconut Rope

Coconut is one of those fibers that most folks only experience once. Once, as in most folks end up cutting the rope off a person and spending the rest of their time pulling slivers out. In short, coconut is the great granddaddy of “FAFO predicament bondage”. The OG of “mean rope”. The thin, coarse fibers are notorious.  In our continuing effort to bring our customers only the best, ethically sourced fibers we wanted to bring this unique fiber to you. However, we wanted to put our own, unique spin on it. Rather than resell a novelty fiber that may also be coated in who knows what kinds of chemical preservatives and softeners, Monk set out to make a fiber that you and your rope partner actually WANT to use again and again. Teaming up with one of our favorite rope aficionados Tame Lioness, we set out to first source the BEST possible fiber.
