This Brad Southard designed Spyderco is certainly a unique piece coming out of the Colorado based company. With a flipper tab, this guy sits on ball-bearings and opens extremely easily with just one finger. Being a titanium R.I.L. frame lock, the Southard is one-hand user friendly, as you can open and close this guy all with just one hand. The handle shape is simple yet ergonomic, with the entrance for the frame lock release doubling as a finger choil during use. The flipper tab also sticks out to act as a finger guard when the knife is open. Being open-backed, this guy is super easy to clean out after use. Jimping on the spine of the blade gives you extra leverage.  This model originally came all blacked-out, with the titanium frame being black and coming with a black G-10 scale and pivot panel for the show side. This model DOES come with the original G-10 scale, but is currently equipped with an aftermarket micarta scale and pivot panel. The Southard C156 comes with a black tip-up po
