the Kawa Cuff
Kawa means “river” in Japanese. A River Cuff sans stone, named the Kawa Cuff to honor the extra wabi-sabi touches it has. Inspired by the Japanese idea that handmade things are not necessarily meant to be perfect, but rather the marks left by the maker are to be appreciated, and found beautiful. I left many of the marks from forging that the tools, surfaces, and soldering process make in the metal that usually get sanded and polished out. I also added a few intentional little character marks to it as well to give it that wabi-sabi feel… well loved, well worn, beautiful in its imperfection. Customizable, and made to order just like the River Cuff, leave me the wrist size you want it made in, and what you want stamped inside in the “notes” section when you checkout. To order: Leave your wrist size at checkout in the notes section. To personalize your cuff with a word, name, quote, song lyric, date or whatever you envision on the back also leave that with your wrist size in the notes at
