Antique Biedermeier Silver Cabinet with Mother of Pearl Escutcheons & Burl Walnut Accents
Beautiful antique German Biedermeier silver cabinet from the 19th century. Simple and geometric design. Large cabinet with full length drawer across the top, compartment with swinging doors at arms height and three slightly larger, equally sized, full length drawers on the bottom. Each door and drawer has a key hole with mother of pearl escutcheons. All locks use the same key, which is included in a smaller drawer located inside the compartment doors. Three of the escutcheons are missing or not secured properly, but there are 6 extra ones included in the drawer with the key. Butterfly joining's on the drawers. Compartment is painted in black lacquer and has storage for serving utensils. Burl wood accent panels on the front. Great condition, from a household with no kids, no pets and no smokers.
