We can honestly say this is one of the most unusual mourning necklace settings we have ever come across. It almost gives a crying eye vibe. It's just incredible! Hand crafted in 10k gold, this extraordinary piece features a mix of collet set amethyst and paste stones in varying shades of purple. Amethyst is believed to harness the power of grief-healing. It is believed to help the wearer find inner peace during dark and difficult times.  The beautiful pearl encrusted centerpiece most likely held the hair of a loved one at some point, but unfortunately is long lost. Our only clue is the engraving on the back that reads, "J.M.M. July 18, 1843." Necklace comes on a new gold filled chain.
