We love cigar band rings! Not only are they easy to wear and great for stacking but they also exude a timeless elegance that is both chic and modern. Best of all, since each band was handmade, no two are exactly alike! They also make a wonderful, one-of-a-kind wedding band. This spectacular piece is a little more unusual and intriguing than other cigar band rings we have come across because this particular ring is made of pinchbeck.  Invented in the early 18th century, pinchbeck is made using a secret blend of zinc and copper. The end result is a brass alloy that looks and wears like real gold! This new imitation gold was wildly popular in the Georgian era and allowed people to purchase gold-effect jewelry on a budget (since gold was only sold in 18-karat quality at the time).
