Appearance : A wine of medium ruby garnet with a medium intensity on the nose. Nose : It has aromas and flavours of red fruit, including raspberry, redcurrant , red cherry, and strawberry then a touch of darker fruit that expresses and blackberry. Finally there are more savoury notes of pepper, liquorice, eucalyptus and chocolate. Palate : This wine is dry with high acidy and tannins, and a medium plus body. The finish is medium plus and managed to retain a refreshing juicy character and a classic note of liquorice. About the producer (From Caterina Dei) It all began in 1964 when my grandfather, Alibrando Dei, decided to buy the Bossona land and plant his first vineyard there. Here he discovered an extraordinary place, ideal for the production of great red wines. The property expanded in the 1970s with the purchase of Villa Martiena and the surrounding vineyards.
