Lined Wool Packer Coat - Burgundy/Dark Olive Plaid

An exceptionally warm seasonal release. Our Lined Wool Packer Coat is a double-layer wool coat pulled from our archives and available in a special-edition seasonal plaid color. Based on our original 1914-patented Mackinaw Wool Cruiser, this warm coat retains the Cruiser’s full complement of pockets and adds a double-layer cape over the shoulders and arms. Our original Packer began its legacy of warmth and durability nearly three decades ago protecting men on horseback from cold snowy weather on ranches and in the backcountry. This seasonal release is lined with our Alaskan Guide flannel for added warmth. The Packer is made with our Mackinaw Wool, a densely woven twill from sheep raised in regions with wide temperature swings. These sheep develop a fleece that can protect them year-round in hot and cold weather, which is precisely why their wool does such a great job of protecting people.
