Aphrodite of Heart Lake

Our sensuous Aphrodite is standing above Heart Lake in Siskiyou County, which is located in the hills above Castle Lake, with beautiful vistas of Mt Shasta and Castle Crags. The magical landscape is depicted here in full Spring bloom, and Aphrodite’s pink hair matches the flowers. The doves flying around the goddess symbolise her peace and contentedness. Aphrodite knows that true love begins within, with a desire to cultivate beauty and harmony in oneself, and it flows out into the world, attracting those who are ready to live from the heart and who honour beauty. Her knowing smile and gaze are an invitation, and a challenge...only the brave can find the kind of love that exists in each heart’s depths.
