Winery notes: Our 2020 Family Select Chardonnay comes from southern Napa Valley in an area ideal for growing Chardonnay, with cool morning fog and breezes to retain acidity and warm, sunny afternoons to guarantee ripeness. Bright and well-structured, this wine offers melon, red apple and Meyer lemon flavors spiked with honey, vanilla and brown spices. Fermented and aged in small oak barrels - primarily French – the wine has a creamy, mouth coating texture from twice-a-week lees stirring and a luscious buttery component from 45% malolactic fermentation. This irresistible Napa Valley Chardonnay is a great wine for dining al fresco, especially if you can enjoy a glass while watching the sun slip below the horizon.
