"This is wine of another order. Hudelot-Noëllat farms 0.28ha of Richebourg in the heart of the appellation, next to DRC. His is a Richebourg of elegance rather than power, with extraordinary purity of bright cherry fruit aromas, with hints of rose petal, exotic spice and a mineral depth on the nose. The texture is dense, not heavy, but silky and very fine. With the 2020 vintage, he has achieved a new level of deliciousness with this wine - the intensity and depth of flavour make this one of my top red wines of the vintage.
