"Padelletti is one of the oldest-known wineries in Montalcino and has remained steeped in tradition. This is totally classic, transparent and pure Northern Montalcino winemaking at its best. For the longest time, you couldn’t even find these bottles without visiting the estate, as they were sold privately. However, a number of years ago, Padelletti Brunello and Rosso were reintroduced to international markets and have been making their mark ever since. The vineyards are located at one of the highest elevations (400-430 meters), northeast of the town of Montalcino. They tend to four hectares of vines in their Rigaccini Secondo vineyard, using all organic practices. Recently, they have also planted another hectare using massel selection that was first used in the 2018 vintage.
