A great year round seasonal refreshment, here comes this bright, zesty Albariño that exhibits the grape’s characteristic, wonderful combination of aromatic, tropical perfume, ripe fruit, and racy acidity. Fresh pear and hard apple fruit, with a clean mineral quality. The fruit is really good on the palate, with lots of freshness and lots of nectarine and peach hints of sweetness, but with a fine, racy backbone of acidity and terrific freshness and length. This Albariño takes its name from the idea that it came from Germany (hence Alba-Riño, “white of the Rhein”), but we now know the grape to be native to this stretch of northwestern Iberia.
