Sleek, with leafy lightness to the fore, the nose is poised with sweet violet, cinnamon and the freshness of red currants. The attack is crunchy with crisp acidity, then a grainy texture and a stern finish. This is a very classic example of Barolo from Serralunga. It doesn't come across as over-extracted but still needs more time before drinking.
